In our company, electronic technicians play a central role in the installation and maintenance of our modern machines and systems.
Planning the switchgear:
The first step is to plan our switchgear. Our electronic engineers work closely with our suppliers. They design the switchgear, and the appropriate drive and sensor lists to ensure the optimal performance of our machines. This phase is crucial, as well-thought-out planning forms the basis for the efficiency and reliability of our machines to efficiently shred and process wood, PVC, waste or other materials.
Programming:
Another key aspect of their work is programming. Our electronic technicians create and develop programmes for our mobile machines using CODESYS 3.5 and keep up to date with the latest technology through continuous internal and external training. These programmes are the heart of our machines and control all the important functions and complex processes. In practice, this means that the machines can react flexibly to different material flows and work precisely, resulting in higher productivity.
Machine service:
During commissioning and maintenance, they ensure that our machines and systems are ready for use. Careful documentation of all work carried out ensures that our machines are always optimally maintained. Our service department can always rely on the expertise of our electrical engineers in the event of electrotechnical questions or problems.
Our electrical department team:
- Sebastian – team leader of the electronics department, has been a master craftsman for many years and has a wealth of experience. He has been with HAAS for 12 years and knows the company and our machines inside out.
- Darius – Integrated himself into the team and completed his master’s degree during his time at HAAS. Plant engineering? Darius knows his stuff.
- Gerrit – Has been with us for 5 years and is also an important part of the team. As an all-rounder, he contributes significantly to our success.
- Leon – Is responsible for the electrical installation of the mobile machines. He can wire them up and put them into operation in no time at all.
The four of them are now looking to strengthen their team in order to shape the future of electrical engineering in recycling technology together.
