My name is René Perne, I’m 43 years old, father of three boys and a member of the HAAS team since 2012.
I have my roots in Nentershausen in an area called Westerwald. Most of you will not know the place, but many of you may have special photos from the area. The famous, notorious Elzer Berg a steep section of the A3 between Cologne and Frankfurt, known for its speed control, is only a stone-throw away from my home.
It was a big step for me to become a sales representative in the field of mechanical and plant engineering. I am originally a businessman and started my working life many years ago with an apprenticeship in banking. After studying business administration in parallel to my job, I was finally responsible for setting up a leasing company’s distribution financing. In this position the ways crossed with my present employer. At HAAS, I am responsible for the sales activities in Eastern Europe, France, Great Britain and Ireland as well as North America in close cooperation with our distributors.
My private activities are currently determined by my boys! Their enthusiasm for sports and football has led me to know every sports field and most sports halls in the Westerwald area, as well as in Koblenz and its surroundings.
